It's my cold room giving me a sore throat?

Hello everyone, So I live in Japan and is now very cold! Those of you who may have been to Japan know the houses are made of paper! So when it's cold, it's cold! It is also a very dry time of year. I breath mouth when I sleep and snore sometimes. Now I got a little sore throat, hurts when I swallow, but my glands are swollen. I'm thinking it's because my room is cold or because I snore. I have a runny nose or sneezing etc. I also do not have a temp. You can only have a sore throat, without having a cold? Thanks and Merry Christmas!

is more than likely because of two things .. breathe through the mouth while sleeping dry it, even if it is dry, the air makes the process faster ..
