Sleep Apnea Oral Appliance
O que você sabe sobre o sono cirurgias apnéia?
Eu odeio a máscara (como muitas pessoas fazem). Eu tenho apnéia obstrutiva do sono grave. Eu estou considerando as opções cirúrgicas, mas Eu tenho dito o único que pode trabalhar para mim, é o avanço mandibular (quando eles quebram sua mandíbula e mover para a frente). Alguém já teve isso antes? Quais foram suas experiências? Será que isso funciona? Você sabe de qualquer outra cirurgia que pode ajudar? aparelhos intrabucais?
Eu tinha uma volta de avanço mandibular no dia em que eles ainda wired a boca fechada por seis semanas. (Muitos cirurgiões agora optar por um fecho de rosca e prato junto com elásticos apertados que permitem o movimento mais boca e um pouco mais as opções de comer!) Eu tinha cerca de um ano de ortodontia antes que eu pudesse tê-lo feito, aliás, por isso não foi uma solução rápida por qualquer meio. A cirurgia em si parecia muito pior do que realmente era. A maior dor que eu tinha era como uma terrível dor de cabeça na minha região da mandíbula. O manejo da dor não era um problema de todos. Eu deixar de comer o que eu queria e perdeu peso significativo. (O que eu faria para que isso aconteça agora!) Eu perdi o bocejo a mais, embora! Ela não corrigiu a minha apnéia do sono completamente. Eu nunca sequer desde roncava. Foi assim vale a pena para mim. Meus cinco anos de idade teve as amígdalas e adenóides removidas pelo mesmo motivo (suspensão apnéia) com bons resultados também. Eu já tinha tido a cirurgia, e foi muito mais dolorosa do que o avanço mandibular. Espero que isso ajude! Boa sorte para você!
