My symptoms could be more of sleep apnea?
I have had health problems since October. Symptoms are … im having muscle pain, weakness, Sudden loss of strength, burning pain in the joints, muscle spasms and cramps, fatigue, clumsiness things falling much, unsteadiness, tingling in legs and arms … My family doctor did blood tests which came back normal, he initially thought I had fibromyalgia until I got the weakness muscle into account, he dismissed as sleep apnea snore a lot and I did not sleep very well, nor do I have a lot of symptoms. He sent me to a neurologist that he thinks I have a neurological disorder … the neurologist says he thinks I have sleep apnea, and scheduled a sleep study test, ive talked to other people who have apnea sleep and say I need to see a different neurologist and get a second opinion … if anyone has had these problems with sleep apnea?

The diagnosis of fibromyalgia is done inpart excluding other things that couldbe the cause of the symptoms you have. Moreover, it is not unusal for patients with fibromyalgia to have multiple health problems, and fibromyalgia. Your doctor is covering all the bases and you should be happy that he is being deepened. I want everyone to have good help as you are getting. Each person is different and each patient has different fibro symptoms and problems. The thing about fibro once you get the diagnosis, physicians tend to stop looking for other problems that may be causing the symptoms.
